About Offshore Atlas
Last updated: July 18, 2026
Offshore Atlas is an independent editorial platform for exploring offshore companies, sectors, careers and industry relationships in one structured reference system.
Our Mission
Offshore Atlas was created to make the offshore industry easier to understand. Offshore knowledge is often scattered across company websites, job boards, vessel databases, project announcements, training providers and regional sources. That makes it difficult for professionals, students, recruiters and companies to see how the industry fits together.
The mission of Offshore Atlas is to centralize useful offshore knowledge in a clear, neutral and navigable format. The platform helps users explore companies, sectors, operating regions, career pathways and the relationships between organizations without treating the industry as a simple ranking list.
What Offshore Atlas Includes
- Atlas Map for geographic exploration of offshore companies and sectors.
- Company Profiles with editorial summaries, sectors, operating regions, career context and related companies.
- Companies Directory for structured browsing and filtering.
- Offshore sector coverage across drilling, support vessels, offshore wind, marine survey, subsea and heavy marine construction.
- Career and training references for offshore professionals.
- Knowledge Graph relationships connecting companies, sectors, technologies, regions and fleet categories.
Editorial Philosophy
Offshore Atlas is designed as an editorial reference platform. Content is written to be factual, neutral, concise and useful. Featured companies are selected as starting points for exploration, not as rankings, paid placements or endorsements.
The platform is continuously improved as new editorial research, public company information and user corrections become available.
Our Vision
Offshore Atlas aims to become a trusted knowledge platform for the offshore industry. The long-term vision is to help users move from a company name, sector, vessel type, technology or region into a wider understanding of the offshore ecosystem.
Founder Note
Offshore Atlas is being developed as an editorial knowledge project for offshore professionals and the wider maritime community. A fuller founder note may be added as the platform moves from Version 1.0 into public release.
